Pizza on Whole Wheat Pita

Fiddlehead is a fan of Jacques Pépin. The magazine Food and Wine just published a feature on the popular French chef for its July issue, entitled, "Pépin's Perfect Summer Party." Here's his recipe for Magherita Tortilla Pizza
I've made this pizza twice already since the magazine arrived -- I like it that much. I've made a few changes/distinctions. First, I used whole wheat pita bread from the Lebanese market in the village square. Second, I've added the following:
  • one sliced shallot
  • one or two olive-oil soaked garlic cloves, cut into a few chunks
  • sliced zucchini 
  • sliced red bell pepper
